Jessica Myhr Reedited Scenes

Scene 1 BEFORE
Ok so this scene is pretty much fine the way it is but it needed to be parred down for the purpose of a speed reel. Took a little audio rearranging and some editing magic but we made it work. The end result is the same scene, the viewer gets the point and we’re off to the next scene. See below for the result

Scene 2 BEFORE
This clip as well needed to be shortened for a speed reel. I played around with shots from various parts of the scene and put a nice little clip together. See below for the result.

Scene 3 BEFORE
This wasn’t as complicated as the scene before. Just needed to cut to the chase quicker and end on Jessica smiling to round out the scene nicely. Watch the video below to see what we did.

Scene 4 BEFORE
This is a scene for Jessica Myhr from an independent film. This scene from the outset is already too long for Jessica’s reel. It also features too much of the other actor.

Scene 4 AFTER
What we did was to immediately start the scene with Jessica. We rearranged her reaction shots to overlap on the male character’s dialogue in order to give her more screen time and cut out some of the male character’s excessive expository. The revised scene opens up on Jessica, hits the meat of the scene and gets out with a bang that suits the scene’s tone.
